For advance voting, take your Voter Information Card and one more pieces of ID to the “Advance voting days” location shown on your Voter Information Card. At advance polls, electors can only vote at their assigned polling station. Note that your advance voting location may be different from your election day voting location.
To vote early (but not at the advance polls), take your Voter Information Card and one more pieces of ID to vote at any Returning Office. You will vote using the special ballot process. The Returning Office in Kanata—Carleton is as follows:

To vote by mail, apply online or at any Elections Canada office across Canada. Don't wait – deadlines apply. You must apply before Tuesday, September 14, 6:00 p.m. You will vote using the special ballot process.
Once you have applied to vote by special ballot, you can't change your mind and vote at advance polls or on election day.
