Green Party of Canada (GPC) Federal Election Campaign Launch Meeting in Kanata--Carleton

The Green Party Electoral District Association (EDA) for Kanata—Carleton will be kicking off its campaign for the upcoming Federal Election on Thursday.

KANATA, August 5, 2019 — The Kanata-Carleton Green Party is pleased to extend an invitation to our Campaign Launch on Thursday, August 8, at 7:00 PM

Come out to meet Jennifer Purdy and join her team as we work to make Kanata-Carleton one of Ottawa's first Green ridings. There will also be opening remarks from Jean-Luc Cooke, President of the Green Party of Canada!

There will be a cash bar and snacks. Options for Gluten-Free and Vegan snacks are also available.

Alcoholic drinks; $5,

Non-alcoholic drinks; $2

Donations can be made out to: Kanata-Carleton Green Party of Canada Federal Electoral District Association. There will also be a station set up so you may donate directly via jenniferpurdy.ca. We're hoping to raise up to $10,000 to help pay for signs, and a campaign office.

A native of Kanata, Jennifer Purdy is a family physician who recently retired from the Canadian Armed Forces after over 23 years in service. She has a solo practice in Lifestyle Medicine in Kanata, and she and her husband Bill Whelan live in Dunrobin on a hobby farm.
